           DOWANOL™ DPnB Glycol Ether is a slow-evaporating, hydrophobic glycol ether with excellent surface tension-lowering ability and  coalescing properties. DOWANOL™ DPnB is a relatively slow-evaporating solvent which is one of our most efficient. Coalescents in water-borne latex systems.
           
            DOWANOL™ DPnB Glycol Ether combines a number of properties that contribute to very high latex film quality: 
1) High polymer plasticizing efficiency, 
2) Large molecular size and therefore greater polymer
    mobility contribution.
3) Strong partitioning to the polymer phase.
4) Relatively slow evaporation rate. This product is
    compatible with many different resin types.
     
             DOWANOL™ DPnB Glycol Ether also provides excellent surface tension lowering ability, and is useful in cleaning products by itself or when blended with other products such as DOWANOL™ DPM Glycol Ether. Used alone in cold metal cleaning, DOWANOL™ DPnB Glycol Ether is a good solvent for removing oils and greases.

               DOWANOL™ DPnP Glycol Ether has a slower evaporation rate than DOWANOL PnP Glycol Ether, and it is slightly more hydrophobic. Yet overall, DOWANOL DPnP Glycol Ether has a near-midrange balance between hydrophobic and hydrophilic character, and it offers significant water solubility. This product is a good choice in coatings; it offers very good coalescing performance in blends with more hydrophobic materials such as DOWANOL PPh or PnB Glycol Ethers. DOWANOL DPnP Glycol Ether can also be blended with other materials to replace Butyl CELLOSOLVE™ Glycol Ether (formerly known as DOWANOL EB Glycol Ether).

            DOWANOL™ PnB Glycol Ether is a fast-evaporating, hydrophobic glycol ether with high solvency and excellent coupling abilities. DOWANOL™ PnB Glycol Ether is extensively used in heavy-duty cleaning formulations. It does an excellent job of solvating and coupling hydrophobic greases and oils in household as well as  industrial formulations. It is partly water soluble and miscible with most organic solvents. DOWANOL™ PnB Glycol Ether also provides excellent surface-tension lowering ability.
            In coatings DOWANOL™ PnB offers good coalescing ability in systems requiring fast  evaporation.

          DOWANOL™ PnP Glycol Ether is a fast-evaporating glycol ether with an excellent balance of hydrophilic and hydrophobic character along with outstanding soil removal and coupling properties. DOWANOL™ PnP Glycol Ether offers an excellent balance between hydrophilic and hydrophobic character; it is our most hydrophobic glycol ether that still maintains complete water solubility.
         
           DOWANOL™ PnP Glycol Ether is our P-series product that most closely matches the properties of Butyl CELLOSOLVE™ Glycol Ether. Its primary use is in cleaning products, where its fast evaporation rate and excellent ability to solubilize organic soils makes it useful in a wide variety of  formulation systems. DOWANOL™ PnP Glycol Ether is an excellent choice in glass cleaners and all-purpose cleaners, especially in   combination with selected PM-series glycol ethers.

Hexyl CELLOSOLVE™ Solvent

Hexyl CELLOSOLVE™ Solvent 

           Hexyl CELLOSOLVE™ Solvent is a high boiling point, slow evaporating rate solvent with excellent solvency characteristics. It has the  characteristic structure of glycol ethers and contains both ether and alcohol functional groups in the same molecule. As a result, it provides unique cleaning power for removal of both water-soluble and   greasy (water insoluble) soils. The linear hexyl portion of Hexyl  CELLOSOLVE™ Solvent provides excellent oil solubility  characteristics that make it useful in both consumer and industrial cleaner applications.
            Hexyl CELLOSOLVE™ Solvent plays an important role in specialty printing inks. Because of its limited water solubility and slow evaporation, it can be used in formulations for the silk screen process to prevent premature setting of the ink.

            A basic chemical used in many applications serving
as an emulsifier, stabilizer, chemical intermediate, and a neutralizer that achieves basicity, buffering, and alkalinity objectives. It is a liquid product at room temperature, providing neutralization of acidic components and pH contribution to the formulations. Monoisopropanolamine-based formulations can offer better color and heat stability and improved oil solubility than conventional ethanolamines. It is a specialty alkanolamine that acts
as a neutralizer for water-based coatings.

            A neutral sodium salt that acts as an efficient dispersing agent for flotations cells, it is a tan, free-flowing granular material readily soluble in water. Solid form of OROTAN™ L Conc. Dispersant, particularly suitable for dry rubber recipes. It serves as secondary emulsifier or prefloc preventative, effectively minimizing the formation of gum in the process of emulsion polymerization of Nitrile or Styrene Butadiene rubbers (NBR and e-SBR). 
 
           Orotan-SN is a type of dispersant used in various industries, particularly in the formulation of paints, coatings, and related products. As a result, it is relatively inert and can be used in protonsensitive systems such as water-based polyurethane coatings. Propylene-Glycol-USP/EP

Propylene-Glycol-USP/EP

            Propylene Glycol USP/EP (PG USP/EP), referring to the United States and European Pharmacopoeias, is a high-purity grade of monopropylene glycol for use in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, personal care, flavor and fragrance, plus a variety of other applications. The clear, colorless, practically odorless, slightly viscous, water-soluble and hygroscopic liquid with low vapor pressure is produced and handled in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines. 
           
            PG USP/EP is tested for compliance with the current USP, EP, and Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP) specifications plus the Food Chemical Codex (FCC); it also complies with the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia, and other pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food regulations in the global markets where it is sold. It is listed by the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association as an approved ingredient in cosmetics and its use is reviewed by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR). PG USP/EP is Kosher certified
and complies with Halal requirements.

Cosmetics & Personal Care:

• Various applications as a direct food additive (E 1520)
  such as a carrier or carrier solvent for colors, emulsifiers,
  antioxidants and enzymes (in Europe with maximum
  1 g/kg in human foodstuffs), and humectant and
  stabilizer in fruits, vegetables and bakery goods
  (except in Europe).
• PG USP/EP is also applied in indirect contact food
  applications, such as a low temperature heat-transfer
  fluid in the brewing, dairy and ice cream industries and
  for food storage facilities, an equipment cleaner fluid
  or a solvent for printing inks.

Pet foods & Animal Feed:  

• Humectant, emulsifier, preservative, solvent for
  additives, energy source and aid for prevention of
